Teen Power Yoga – 6 Week Series

April 23rd, 30th, May 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th.

Studies have shown that yoga can improve a teen’s physical, educational, emotional, mental and social well being. Physically, students will learn yoga techniques that can improve flexibility, lengthen muscles, increase coordination & balance, strengthen their core and improve their posture.

  • Educationally students will explore yoga skills which can refocus their concentration and their mental balance.
  • Emotionally yoga can help teens better understand their emotions and how to process them.
  • Mentally yoga relaxation techniques can improve mood swings, lessen anxiety and depression.
  • Socially yoga can teach students how to become more accepting of one another.
